Caitlin Goodwin, MSN, CNM, RN is a certified nurse-midwife and medical writer with more than a decade of hands-on labor and delivery experience. In 2008, she obtained her MSN in the University of Toledo’s Clinical Nurse Leadership program, graduating with honors. Her curriculum included a 300 hour labor and delivery preceptorship. In 2015, she graduated from Frontier Nursing University, receiving her MSN in Nurse-Midwifery.
Before becoming a midwife, Caitlin worked as a labor and delivery nurse. She has over 12 years of nursing experience in both hospital and birth center settings. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University. She also serves as an instructor for midwifery students and a virtual nursing TA for Ohio University. Caitlin is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Nursing Society.
